I'm a local kona based big island wedding photographer! I LOVE this island and feel so honored and privelaged to be able to call it home. I want to be there for you every step of the way in this wedding planning process, as so much more than a wedding vendor. I want to be there to celebrate with you, cry with you, laugh with you and help make your wedding day dreams a reality, no matter how untraditional they may seem to those around you.
When I began in this crazy photography journey, I had no idea how much I'd fall in love with capturing stories. It is truly such an honor to be able to go through life with my couple's and capture their relationship the way it feels to them. To see through the fluff of a wedding into the real and raw love that they share, in their own unique way. Because I truly believe that each person was created uniquely, to love uniquely and to live uniquely, so why should your wedding day (or your wedding photos) look like anyone elses?

This resort is so so gorgeous. They have lots of options for locations to tie the knot, from the golf course to the lava rock lined beaches you can't go wrong with booking your day at this perfect resort! Just walking around the resort is an experience in itself, and there are so many incredible spots for photos on their property!

The Kona Four Seasons has so much to offer for your wedding, and such diversity in their location options for your wedding! From having your ceremony and reception right on the sand, to a tucked away celebration in the gardens of the resort, whatever your mood board entails this resort can make it happen

From the lush lawns and topical plants, to the sandy beaches surrounding the resort this resort is hard to beat! One of my favorite parts of this venue (pictured right here) is the recpetion area! They have a perfect open grassy area overlooking the sunset for cocktail hour, with a tucked away area covered in tropical trees that makes for the perfect reception space. You can dance the night away under the tree covered twinkle lights.

Big Island's newest resort, after a hurricane damaged the original Kona Village they spent the last decade renovating and reviving this iconic spot! It is now one of the most gorgeous and special places on the island, with their beach bungalows and signature hawaiian accents, it's the perfect place for your perfect day.

One of the reasons I love Big Island landscape so much is because of our huge variety!! One of my favorite landscapes to capture here on the island is the rolling green hills, and Parker Ranch has just that! It's a goooooorgeouss venue complete with lots of open land, horses and overlooks of the entire Kona Coast! If you've ever dreamt of having your pride and prejudice moment, this is the spot for you.

Can you tell I love the ranches here?? You truly can't go wrong with any of the ranches listed, but something I love most about this one is it's proximity to the ocean! Not only can you get the classic ranch cottage type photos, but you can easily drive a few minutes down to the beach for some gorgeous sunset photos!

Kahua Ranch is such a beautiful place to get married! Tucked in the hills of the country of Big Island, it's the sweetest secluded spot with the most incredible views of the whole island. It's a gorgeous place with lots of open land for any amount of guests and any sort of arbor setup or dreams you've had of your big day! It's really just a giant open canvas for whatever you want to make of it, I cannot recommend it enough.

Anna Ranch is SUCH a gorgeous spot to tie the knot! Nestled in the green hills of Waimea on the Big Island, it's an incredible backdrop for the perfect day. Anna Ranch has access to lots of land for photos and portraits of the two of you to explore and frolick before or after you tie the knot!

Waipio Valley is one of the most beautiful spots on Big Island, people come from all over the world to look at this iconic view! And imagine getting married here?? What could be better!! Waipio Valley has lush greenery surrounded by cliffs falling into the most gorgeous valley. There's even a tall waterfall that can be spotted during wet seasons of the year! Truly one of the most beatiful spots I've had the privelage of visiting.

This sweet venue is located on an actual salt farm! It is truly such a cool spot and is right on the kona coast! It has beautiful secluded spots for a first look or private moment with family but is also large enough to fit a big group! It really is the perfect place for your big day no matter what you have planned!

This inn is one of the cutest spots on the island to tie the knot. tucked in the hills just above Kona, it's the perfect size for a perfect intimate wedding day with the best view. It's also high enough in elevation that it's cool and breezy at any time of year, which is perfect to beat the heat at your summer wedding.

I found this air bnb by chance during a beach day! I walked past and instantly thought "wow what a perfect place for an intimate wedding", so I simply couldn't make this list without including it! The property includes a couple of adorable green A frame cottages, with a small grassy area & garden surrounding it. It's lawn leads directly to the beach, which makes for a perfect sunset portrait backdrop! It is also next door to one of the most popular beaches on the island, making for the perfect carefree wedding weekend.
